TYPES OF FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
Stored Pressure Type
(1) Stored pressure extinguishers have the compressed nitrogen gas that is used as the propellant for the dry chemical agent stored in the same canister as the dry chemical. (2) In stored pressure fire extinguishers, the compressed nitrogen gas that serves as the dry chemical agent’s propellant is kept in the same canister as the dry chemical itself. The dry chemical is kept in a non-pressurized container in side cartridge-driven systems, while the compressed nitrogen gas is kept in a different cartridge.

And Foam Fire Extinguishers are suitable to fight burning solids such as wood as well as liquid fires such as burning petrol. The foam has the ability to creep over the burning liquid or to soak into burning materials such as settees.
